On July, 3-7, 2019, the 11th Johannes Brahms International Choir Competition took place in Wernigerode, Germany. Excellent bands from around the world took part in it, including the Senza Rigore choir of the Wrocław Music Academy, whose founder, artistic director and conductor is prof. dr hab. Jolanta Szybalska-Matczak. The program of the competition performance also included my Crucem tuam, which in 2014 won the first place in the Composer's Passion Competition in Bydgoszcz. Senza Rigore won the Grand Prix, the Golden Diploma in the chamber choir category and the Golden Diploma in the sacred music category in a beautiful style. This is a great success, and for me as a composer a great distinction! I cordially congratulate the Conductor and all the choristers on such a great achievement.
