Description
A few words about the piece: Beatus vir is a contemporary Latin setting of Psalm 1. The piece, composed in 2014, was dedicated to the Poznań Chamber Choir and its conductor, Bartosz Michałowski. It has been performed by leading Polish choral ensembles, including the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Minimus vocal ensemble from Poznań, and the National Philharmonic Choir in Warsaw. The composition has also been presented internationally, including at the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music and the Pažaislis Music Festival in Lithuania.
